No Talent at Map Making

Resources

I have been trying to get the map to my world for a year.

I have used many services.. some paid and cannot seem to get something I find esthetically pleasing.

There is so much info ... borders, roads, rivers and a few major cities and the map seems congested.

How to you find that balance of what should be conveyed on the overall world map?

Are there any sites where I find artists looking to commission? The world is very near & dear.

It has been the primary location for my campaigns for a decade and I would like to do it justice.

I have

Wonderdraft (many assets) Incarnate Canvas of Kings

I just cant seem to get the layering and placement of markers / assets. I have watched tutorials. Ugh. Might just be too much of a perfectionist.
