I know that many people were only subscribing to Grok to experience the NSFW Image & Video content that was making its rounds through the web not long ago.

I must admit that I was initially disappointed as well. I have some weird kinks and thought it would be novel to deep fake some of the more niche individuals I have a crush for.

I stayed around anyway and found the service to be acceptable for the most part. When they came out with project segregation, memory features and connectors I thought the developers were seeking some kind of parity with competitors.

I now find that the project instructions are gone. This has been replaced with a memory only feature. When I inquired to Grok "wha

Howdy community.

How many of you out there are still genuinely excited about this thing? It's been "coming soon" for a good minute now.

Surely it's due to drop any day.

I remember it like yesterday, the threads were full of people buzzing about sneak peeks.

Stuff was actually stuff, it's all over in Discord?

Oh, and remember that deep dive that's been right around the corner for... what?

eight or nine months now

Shhh. Can't mention any of that on Steam or you risk getting the ban hammer. Apparently that's where the line is.

I gotta admit though, I'm starting to love that fragile ego... despite the Steam ban.

I've followed this thing for close to two years and I'll be hon

Loving the game so far. Still a bit of a noob at around 50-60 hours of play.

I have started my second real playtrhough. You know... the one where you are happy with how things are starting and can see a 50+ hour build hiding in there somewhere.

I have plenty of wood, line stone and iron .... but ZERO hay. My starting package allowed me to build 9 beds from the available hay and I jave used hay for nothing else.

I have no more hay and people are still needing rescue / a place to stay. I am currently hot banking and running two different sleep shifts tl accommodate, but eventually this will not be effective.

Have only had one merchant appear and did not have much to trade at that time.

So, I keep seeing questions that feel like they have no answer. The frequency of questions that ask how to get players to do something they are otherwise not interested in doing.

It really seems like session 0 is not used as often as it should be, or that the full scope of session 0 specifics may not be fully understood.

We often hear of people discussing aspects of character creation and gameplay themes, but what about tone OR expectations? So often I feel like expectations are not adequately discussed and might just be the missing ingredient to many campaigns success... or lack there of.

Been trying to struture my thoughts and probably should have avoided the red bulls altogether..

I seem to be having some problems with migrating to Grok.

As they have finally added project / memory capabilities i wanted to subscribe ans compare efficacy of results with the claude models I use.

Problem: The grok app seems to be behind the curve for the browser. The app lacks project capacities and seems to be inferior I. General.

The browser has projects but seems to encounter issues with the boundaries / viewability of text boxes. Sometimes the text box will cover the generate / enter button.

The problem with the browser seems to persist with chrome of Samsung browser. When i am able to use my PC or laptop, the browser does not have these issues.

Question:

Lawful Good

Need Advice: Other

Someone asked a question of the world at large and then proceeded to argue with my answe.

This has created a desire more me to find out what others think.

Hypothetical Question. A lawful good person lives within a lawful evil society.

Would a lawful good person seek to tear down down the system without regard to existing laws and say fuck the social order. You have to tear it down to rebuild.

My contention was that a Lawful Good person would seek to work within the framework of the system and use existing laws to create change & effect the most good.

I curious what others think. I cannot seem to convince this person that these actions would be ascribed to a chaotic good or neutra

I have been trying to get the map to my world for a year.

I have used many services.. some paid and cannot seem to get something I find esthetically pleasing.

There is so much info ... borders, roads, rivers and a few major cities and the map seems congested.

How to you find that balance of what should be conveyed on the overall world map?

Are there any sites where I find artists looking to commission? The world is very near & dear.

It has been the primary location for my campaigns for a decade and I would like to do it justice.

I have

Wonderdraft (many assets) Incarnate Canvas of Kings

I just cant seem to get the layering and placement of markers / assets. I have watched tutorials

I must say that it warms my heart to remember something so influential on my early development and see that there are people trying to keep it alive.

There are probably not a great deal of younger people who have experienced the wonder and excitement of realmz. I truly feel this is a direct precursor to games like Never Winter Nights.

I appreciate all the effort people have put into gathering links and sharing resources with the world at large. Perhaps someone out there will reboot the idea.

Games like Dwarf Fortress, and Caves of Qud show that you can have success with games that focus on story over graphics.

Its really awesome to find there is still a patch for me to play this beloved

I need to vent for a second.

The 5e DMG has 3 Paragraphs on Social Interaction?

Like seriously WTF.

I've been running D&D for years now, and there's this thing that's been eating at me. We watch Critical Role or Dimension 20, we see these incredibly dynamic social encounters where political intrigue unfolds, negotiations have real tension, and every character finds a way to contribute. Then we sit down at our own tables and... what? The bard rolls Persuasion?

So I cracked open my DMG looking for guidance on how to actually structure these encounters. You know what I found?

What the DMG Actually Says

The social interaction rules amount to this: pick one of three starting attit

The game has exploded in the last decade or more. IT went from being something you couldn't admit to playing in public to a Multi-billion-dollar industry.

This is sometimes hard for me to wrap my head around. I think the popularity and explosion in success is somewhat responsible for player disconnect.

I know, this might sound a little crazy on the surface but hear me out. All the super talented people out there that are doing live play, streaming and other forms of art that entertain people are directly creating an idea that D&D is meant to entertain them.

All table top roleplaying games are things to be participated in...

This is only compounded if the player has neve
