Seeking Advice- Navigating Grindr Requests

Hey transmasc here. I’m back on dating apps after years away and wanted to see if anyone had any experience with this/ opinions. Ive been out for a while, on t for a while but had never been on Grindr before.

I’m getting a lot of messages in my inbox from men asking if I need support paying for bills or living costs, asking for a text buddy with a weekly stipend and taps from similar pages with bios about taking care of ppl. I want to better understand a) if these are all just random scammers b) if other cis or trans men have had experiences like this c) what risks are associated with this/how to proceed w caution

I always heard that men who were sugar babies were more rare which made me think it was all scams. but with the current job market I’m at least curious unfortunately!

TLDR- trans guy new to grindr. Seeking context and advice on Grindr daddies wanting to pay me / support me. Sorry if this comes across as stupid I just want to approach this with more context and hear from a variety of perspectives who have had more experience than me.
