Lactulose for my cat

My (30F, USA) cat (4M, orange tabby, neutered ) is currently dealing with constipation. I’ve let the vet know and he was prescribed Lactulose liquid form, to be given by mouth. My issue is it is supposed to go directly in the mouth and preferably not in wet food.

I’ve tried multiple methods with no luck and have resorted to mixing the solution with a tiny amount of wet food. Has anyone found this to make Lactulose infective?
