Not really. Fishmen also have 10 times the natural strength of humans. A Zoan fruit wouldn't give them that, and their full animals forms would be fairly useless. The only advantage would be extra arms in a hybrid form, or a partial transformation like Marco can perform, but that takes extreme mastery over the fruit.
So what you're saying, is even if the species lives on the bottom of the ocean with all that pressure. That eating a fruit of that species wouldn't give you the durability and strength to put up with those relative pressures?
Actually all Zoans enhance the physical strength of the user tremendously. That's why Chopper is really strong despite never doing any sort of training before he met the crew.

He's a fishman according to the databook, but we all know how unreliable databooks are so Karma being a zoan devil fruit user is still a possibility.
I would hope to see some more Mythical Zoans coming from non-Smile DF's. Like Kaido's upper echelon of fighters.

I definitely hope to see more Mythical and Ancient Zoans. Mammoth, Velociraptor, Triceratops and Giant Ground Sloth would be great ancient ones. As for Mythical, I'm thinking more like Sengoku's. Maybe Shiva, Sphinx, Anubis. It would be cool if there was a group in Kaido's army called the Demon Sins or something like that. They could have the 7 different models for the Oni Oni no Mi. They would be the seven demons related to the seven deadly sins, such as Mammon, Beelzebub, Asmodeus, Leviathan and whathaveyou.

Japanese is a weird language. It is a type of food, but it can also mean Demon Slash. Words need to be given a lot of context to make sense in Japanese. A few of Zoro's attacks have food puns related to them.

I think that Kaido will be the only one with a mythical or ancient type. For his main crew however I would like to see a strong insect type, like a spider swordsman or a beetle fighter type. Other than that, I honestly have no idea! Oda has a way of making seemingly non-threatening fruits quite formidable with the right user.
I think Vice Admiral Onigumo is already a spider zoan.

I would really like to see some more reptile zoans, or perhaps some micro-organism. As for Kaidos captains I am thinking that the 3rd division commander will have some sort of exotic creature, maybe a bat? 2nd division commander would actually be a paramecia type, using the hone hone no mi, but he uses it in a bestial way. 1st division commander would have a seemingly weak zoan type, such as a moth or fly, but makes it strong with his own skills.

Yes and I would love for that to be explained, I think it's been theorized that an awakened is an animal eating the fruit of itself so I think those guards were originally Zebras and Rhinos ect and then are the fruit

my thoughts are that there will be several dinosaurs amongst his ranks. Griffin, Behemoth, Naga, Gargoyle, Knoll, Bull/Gorgon, wyvern, Pegasus, unicorn, dragon, manticore, hydra, thunderbird. just went through Heroes of might and magic list. a few of those have kind of been used already. :P like some others suggested, lots of bugs. then probably some fairly common animals that'll be fodder.
I think you can have a smile transformation and have a devil fruit (Probably what Pekoms has) So I bet we'll see a lot of strong paramecia's and maybe even a Logia, but also have be Bear's and Lions or the more carnivous animals. Would love to see a tiger smile with a Logia. But I think we'll see a straight tiger Zoan too because that's the only major predator I can think of that we haven't had already.

There's probably going to be a fly zoan which will be strong but very annoying.
Pell from Alabasta said there was 5 Devil fruits that gave the ability to fly, but only 3 has been revealed so far. The 3 are Pell, marco and Lafitte. So there will probably be shown 2 more.

Yeah some say shiki is the fourth but I didn't count him in since he hasn't been shown in the manga as of yet.

Yeah but zoan might be different, they say for example Rob luccis' fruit is called neko neko fruit model: leopard. If theyre specified to species then maybe there's a zoan fruit for every bird, cat and whatever else and they just classify a whole group of zoans as one fruit. But an army with flying armoured bug people sounds a little too over powered even for one piece.
