Need some game recos for my very potato laptop. I just started playing in early January, so please bear with my limited knowledge.

So I'm not really techy and I just started playing a few weeks ago, so I'm not much of a gamer. I was supposed to only use this laptop for thesis purposes, but on some days I just want something to kill my boredom. I also just recently did some research and watched videos about different specs and all that, so please excuse me if my ignorance still slips through. I'm just a beginner🤧

Here's my laptop's specs:

RAM: 8GB DDR3

PROCESSOR: i7-6500 (2.50 GHz up to 2.59GHz)

Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 930M (2GB)

Storage: 224GB SSD

So far I've played CS2, Bloodstrike, Combat Master, and Sky: Children of the Light (but this one is just not for me). My favorite so far is Combat Master since it's just a simple shooting game and the features are easy to understand. I'm not sure how much CS2 has changed since the last time I played it many many years ago. There are just too many things happening with the controls now, unlike before that it was too simple.

I was actually planning on buying the definitive edition of GTA SA earlier, but the reviews just discouraged me. I would have love to play the OG SA :<

So I'm looking for some action games that are not too complicated to understand lol. And, is there any chance I can play any of the GTA versions on steam? (except the definitive edition)
