I’ve noticed earlier that when I play Spotify on my laptop with my external speakers on, the volume seems linked to my phone. If I watch a video or play anything on my phone, the music volume on my laptop also changes, sometimes even going to zero on its own. I also have Spotify installed on my phone, but I'm not opening the app tho so it should not really interfere (right??). So is there a way to stop my phone from controlling my laptop’s music volume? Coz I couldn't find anything on my settings to turn it off.

I only have a small beginner camera which was a gift from two years ago basically an entry level dslr and sometimes I feel like I’m stuck because of it. I see people with huge lenses or crazy setups taking amazing photos, and it makes me wonder if I’ll ever get good with what I have. Can you actually improve and learn composition, lighting and technique without spending hundreds or thousands on gear? Or do you have to upgrade to start taking decent shots?
So I'm not really techy and I just started playing a few weeks ago, so I'm not much of a gamer. I was supposed to only use this laptop for thesis purposes, but on some days I just want something to kill my boredom. I also just recently did some research and watched videos about different specs and all that, so please excuse me if my ignorance still slips through. I'm just a beginner🤧
Here's my laptop's specs:
RAM: 8GB DDR3
PROCESSOR: i7-6500 (2.50 GHz up to 2.59GHz)
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 930M (2GB)
Storage: 224GB SSD
So far I've played CS2, Bloodstrike, Combat Master, and Sky: Children of the Light (but this one is just not for me). My favorite so far is Combat Master since
Hi, so I’m currently looking for a laptop that can handle QGIS and Python workflows mainly spatial analysis and scripting to analyze an entire Feeder dataset. It's for my undergrad thesis so budget isn’t super high, so right now I’m eyeing something like an Intel i5 8th gen with 16GB RAM and a 256GB SSD. I'm not so sure if that's a setup that would handle QGIS and Python comfortably for analysis tasks.
I’m mainly looking at HP or Lenovo ThinkPad models since they're the ones I've seen the most while doing some research. Although I would also appreciate recommendations on other brands and specs (not MAC). I'd like to know whether the above specs are worth it for QGIS workflows or are there
Hi! So I'm an eng'g student looking for a laptop na under 30k sana. I’m thinking of buying kahit second hand lappy sa FB Marketplace sana kasi feeling ko kapag brand new, and with my budget, limited lang yung specs ng mabibili ko. Although I'm still hesitant kasi baka ma-scam🤧I'm already in my last year naman din sa college so as much as possible ayokong mag-spend ng malaki and nagtitipid din ako hahaha.
I’ll mainly use it for Python programming to analyze large datasets and other statistical tools for my thesis. Not looking for gaming but I do need something that won’t struggle with heavy data processing or long coding sessions.
So I’d like some recos sana for laptops na pasok sa budget k
