How to love Ricoh when accustomed to Sony

Discussion

I bought a Ricoh GR iii on advise from several trusted fellow photographers, and I'm having trouble figuring out how to use it. I'm used to shooting with a Sony a7iii in full manual with a 28mm lens, primarily in a documentary fashion, mostly people and travel.

Obviously they're not the same, and while Sony excels in speed, low light, and all kinds of technical measures, I didn't buy the Ricoh for those reasons; I wanted something more portable to bring on adventures and help me shoot a little looser.

Any recovering full-size full-frame manual shooters have advice for me? Either in terms of mindset or, maybe even more helpfully, in terms of how to best set up the Ricoh to be able to have fun and some control, but not go crazy trying to micromanage everything like I easily and quickly can with my Sony?

Photos are early Ricoh shots, a few I didn't hate out of thousands I did hate.
