Can you access Magic Meadows and other trails from the top of the gondola this summer with the bike park closed, or are all the trails up there closed as well? Thx!

The hood of my car was keyed randomly and I need a body shop to fix the hood. Any recommendations? I don’t think it’s super tricky, but want to make sure the paint job is done well. Thx!

I saw a Bruin Biscuit & Coffee truck and the beginnings of a seating area at the NW corner of 32nd and Main — anyone know the scoop on what’s happening up there?

First summer with my van, and I’m having some melting issues— I have some adhesive magnetic strips and some Velcro strips mounted to the interior surfaces, but some of them are beginning to come away due to a hot interior, I assume. Any tips on how to avoid this? Or particular types of adhesive magnet or Velcro that will stay despite high interior temps? The walls are laminate.

Friends! I’ve been a mountain biker for some years now, and I absolutely love it. Lately though, I’m getting slower, which makes me sad b/c (a) it’s hard to keep up with some of my ride friends and (b) I feel like I’m losing some of the progress I’ve worked so hard to achieve. I’m trying to ride a few times a week but also prioritize strength training, but I also keep being told that in peri we need more rest days. It kinda feels like a “Pick Two” scenario — how do we fit it all in? I’d like to regain my speed and endurance but don’t want to quit the gym (though riding the day after a leg day feels impossible) — but also want to give my body full rest/active rest days. There are only seven d

A wrist injury about 15 months ago was a major setback in my cardio fitness— I’m an avid mountain biker. Back on the bike over the past 6 months I am so slow, I can’t find a way to get back to where I was. If anything, I grow slower and slower. I lift weights 2-4x per week and try to ride 2x but it varies, and it’s hard lately mentally bc I’m so discouraged at how slow I’ve become. I’m 46/f.

Cyclists/runners/other cardio-driven athletes, any tips on how to build cardio fitness back in this chapter of life?

Crap cardio workouts?

Exercise/Fitness

46/f. Lately I feel (and am) slower on my bike. I feel like an absolute slug. I’ve never been fast, but now my muscles feel tired even after several rest days, and my times are usually wayyyy slower.

I strength train. I eat plenty of protein and fuel before and during workouts. I drink lots of water and electrolytes.

I started 100mg P a couple months ago (tried upping to 200 but was way sleepy) and added T a couple weeks ago.

Is this just age? Is it related to the HRT? Something else? Anyone have tips?

I started 100 MG progesterone about seven weeks ago, and two weeks ago my doctor switched me to 100/200 cycling. The first few weeks I felt great, high energy, waking up alert, sleeping better. After a couple weeks, the good sleep wore off, hence the increase to 200 in the second half of my cycle. What I’m noticing the last few weeks is that I am incredibly slow on my bike or running. I mountain bike a lot and have for years, but the last few weeks I feel like my bike will barely go. Is this progesterone related? Anyone have similar experience? Will this resolve on its own as my body adjusts, or is this possibly an indicator that 200 is too high?

I’m 45F and have been experiencing some mild to moderate peri symptoms for a couple years now — moody, low energy, low motivation, some brain fog, poor sleep — just feeling overall lackluster. I have no medical or mental health history, I have been lucky to be overall healthy and active throughout my life. Still, the lethargy and feeling “down” have taken their toll on my quality of life, and I have recently really committed to trying to understand and improve these symptoms and prioritize self care.

I am a few months into this journey and I am really feeling so much better, sharing for dialogue and in case my journey helps anyone else.

On the advice of a friend I went to an alt practitio

Looking for someone to haul some junk for me. Well less than a pickup truck load, nothing toxic or very heavy, just doing a garage clean-out and need some crap gone. Any tips?

I see so many interesting travel and street photos in here, but relatively few portraits and documentary photos with people as the main subjects. Care to share a few favorites to give me inspiration on what a Ricoh can do? I am a new Ricoh GRiii user, longtime Sony a7iii documentary family photographer.

I bought a Ricoh GR iii on advise from several trusted fellow photographers, and I'm having trouble figuring out how to use it. I'm used to shooting with a Sony a7iii in full manual with a 28mm lens, primarily in a documentary fashion, mostly people and travel.

Obviously they're not the same, and while Sony excels in speed, low light, and all kinds of technical measures, I didn't buy the Ricoh for those reasons; I wanted something more portable to bring on adventures and help me shoot a little looser.

Any recovering full-size full-frame manual shooters have advice for me? Either in terms of mindset or, maybe even more helpfully, in terms of how to best set up the Ricoh to be able to have
