Old Taco Bell location downtown?

Anyone know what is going to be out there?

I’ve seen threads like this say that it could be a parking lot/garage OR another restaurant.

I find it hard to believe that the city would pay TB to move across the street just to put in another restaurant, but it looks like they may be doing work to the inside of the restaurant.

Maybe they are completely gutting it before knocking it down? Why not just knock it down without the added work of demoing the inside?
