Broke up with GF of 4 years for low effort.

Been about 3 weeks now no contact. I broke it off after 4 years. Long story short, I was putting in max effort meanwhile she was just comfortable as hell and showing no appreciation or effort. We are not on bad terms, and there are still strong feelings there on both I'm sure. I get the urge to message her, but am I wrong to think that I shouldn't be the one reaching out? Like if the relationship actually matters and if you do love me the way you say you do, how hard is it to reach out and apologize, take accountability and make a commitment to being better? I find this to be something so simple and her lack of communication during this time or urgency to even acknowledge her shortcomings just leaves a bad taste in my mouth and makes me think my decision was completely valid, even more.

Anyone 30+ with similar experience got any thoughts? Is this worth even having hope in? She's a good hearted person, which is why I love her, but to be more specific, near the end- the last year really I felt I was bringing everything to table and elevating my life and she was bringing just sex and being straight up lazy and not acknowledging my needs in the relationship. I just couldn't tolerate that anymore.
