So a few months ago a very sweet grey tabby randomly spawned on the fire scape in my apt complex. We’re close to a small cat colony near by but they never come to where my complex is so it was a bit odd to see her there, specially since I had never seen her before and I often come up and down those stairs. When I 1st saw her she was staying at the very bottom of the fire escape by a window in an apt where a lot of people live in. She would come up the stairs and beg for food but would always go back to that window. We think someone abandoned her or kicked her out.

Since then though my friend and I have dubbed her Alice. She was taken in by one of my neighbors but he ended up kicking her out because allegedly she was “hissing and swatting” at him. A little over a month ago a big snow storm went by and my friend and I thought she surely died, but one night we found her inside the building, someone let her in and I guess let her back out but inside the building, she stays on the top floor where I’m at and I try feed and give her water everyday. We have formed a bond but I am unable to take her in at the moment.

I’m moving back to FL and I’m gonna be at my parents house for a few months until I can get my apartment and I have a 10 month old brown tabby that is barely being allowed there, also they have seen each other but Alice ended up hissing at her the last time so I’ve been kinda iffy about introducing them or letting them see each other again. I would love to take her in and slowly introduce them properly but i would not be able to keep her at my parents. I’m leaving in like two weeks and I would hate to leave her since I’m the only one that feeds her and she’s already very skinny. I’m getting my own apartment but it would be a few months after moving back. Idk what I can do with her, my friend isn’t able to take her in but I don’t wanna leave her, I can’t find a shelter no kill shelter or a foster around me that can temporarily take her while I can get myself together, any advice?

Abandoned kitty, any advice????
