Breaking Benjamin July 13

Hello! I hope this post is ok. I want to start by saying sorry if this is disrespectful or sounds uneducated. I have done my own research and thought it’d be best to just ask real people.

So we’re English and French and have wanted to see Breaking Benjamin forever. All the tickets sold out apart from Belfast so we bought them without thinking. Then our friends who are from Belfast said do what you can to sell them because it isn’t a good idea for us to go to Belfast around the 12th/13th. I assumed they were exaggerating but they insisted it would not be safe. Ticketmaster do not offer refunds so we are going. We’ll be fine right? The event is being held at the Telegraph building I believe it is called. The event will finish late obviously but they say it will be even more dangerous at night. We have never been to Belfast and obviously I am going to trust my friends but surely we will be fine to arrive, go to a hotel, go to concert, straight back to hotel and fly home the next day? Some real insight would be helpful please. Please don’t laugh or poke I understand it is sensitive I mean well and would love to see Belfast and wouldn’t think twice about visiting if it was any other week. Thank you.
