Is it worth being a massage therapist/esthetician here?

I'm a 24 year old male who has an interest in getting licensed to become a massage therapist and/or an esthetician. however, when I see the jobs postings for those positions online in or around the area, it's hard to find very many openings. Anybody in these fields care to chime in on their experience please?
