cat congested and sneezing

hi guys I recently adopted my first cat he’s 2 years old and seems completely okay besides his breathing, when he purrs especially he sounds a little congested, he seems completely healthy otherwise, ive been observing his face to see if he’s in any pain and doesn’t seem to be, hes eating, okaying, etc but sounds congested, he’s neutered and up to date on all his shots, do i need to take him to the vet?
