Drow "slumber party" sidequest

**Set-up:** Players have been wandering in the dangerous wilderness. They have been unable to get a long-rest during this time and the abandoned settlement they found is the only safe place for days. However, it's currently occupied by a drow scouting party. Needing the rest, they negotiate with the drow not to kill them and pay them off to rest up in a potion of the settlement. However, one of the quirky characters in the party laid the flattery on thick and the drow captain, praising matriarchal societies and what not. The captain found her amusing and said that she would be spending her long rest in her encampment.

I have a side quest planned for the other players, but for the player hanging out with the drow, I need ideas of what to do. For additional context, the players know and have witnessed that the drow who follow Lolth are evil and it's an open secret that the drow are scouting because there will likely be a major conflict between them and the surface world down the line. But this seems like a great opportunity for lore, roleplay, and further demonstrating the Drow's cruelty.

What would be the best lore to drop here? Also, demonstrations of evil? Right now, I'm thinking of the drow captain killing one of her soldiers on a whim in demonstration of Lolth's unpredictability. Because the player asked the captain if female drow eat male drow (like spiders), I feel as though that could loop in as well (although handled with tact if that happens). Basically, and ideas that build toward future conflicts and an uneasy, reoccurring relationship with this new NPC would be welcome.

A few things:

• The drow captain isn't going to try to kill the player unless she really fucks around and finds out. No torture, either. But making her uncomfortable? Sure.
• The party is looking for a relic of Eilistaree (one of their future sidequests that isn't currently prioritized). If this comes up, I could see the captain offering her support, but obviously for nefarious intentions.
