I’m over the South Station fare gates

Not because I’m pro fare evasion (pay your fare!) they just are so grossly unreliable that it a. results in wavearounds that defeat its purpose, and b. require constant staffing to get them, likely wiping out any money savings the gates get the agency.

I get that other countries have fare gates, but I bet they break a lot less than those gates at South Station.
