It’s important and a big part of the game. All classes have blaring weaknesses and severe strengths. The goal should always be to cover a teammates weaknesses with your strengths.

Too many matches I get into, people only care about their stats, this leaves them all fighting for kills, putting themselves and the team in danger.

General tips for each class.

Hunter- Prioritize heavies, ranged units and keep the flanks cleaned. You’re already most likely to be highest kill count so focus on keeping the rest of the team safe.

Samurai- Front line bruiser. I haven’t built one up yet, but this is what the successful ones I’ve seen do. You hold the front line. The rest of the squad should be reacting to your moves.

Mercenary and Shinobi- These are both versatile mid range choices that thrive in support and assists. Since they are the most flexible they also need to adapt more. If paired with a Hunter, you will need to be front line, if paired with a samurai you will want to play support. And if paired with another I found it best to alternate skirmishes.

These tips I learned, definitely help me go from struggling on gold to finishing nightmare no deaths. Be flexible with your squad. Even without a mic you can vibe with people by adjusting your play to compliment theirs.
