A professor at my university jammed his cardoor into my car, is my car too old and worn to claim anything?

I just bought an old car, Honda Jazz 2011. Its old, its not fancy, it has some not so-beauty spots, but it gets me from A to B. I used all my savings and even got help from my grandfather to pay for it. And I know that its not a good looking hot car by all means.

This morning i parked in a EMPTY parking lot at my university, and this guy parked right next to me and jammed his door straight into my car while I sat there. He didnt even look at me, just made a oops face and walked away.. Now its not just that he could have parked everywhere else, but there was plenty of space between us, so the cardoor jammed into my car at maximum opening range. And the fact that he didnt aknowledge me sitting there just looking at him that gets me really mad. It turned out he’s a professor at my university, as I looked up the plate number and got the contact info.

Now the thing is that I have photos of him walking of, the marks on my car with his brown enamel in it, and tiny specks of my blue car enamel on his door where it hit mine. I guess Im just really bothered by the disrespect, because my car has plently of spots already, so if he said stopped and said sorry I probably would have let it go as I shy away from conflict. I live in Norway so my insurance will claim money from his as I have proof If I really wanted to. I could also contact him as I have his contact info, but idk what I should even say.

BUT my main question is, if my car already has some spots in other places and is «ugly». Should I really ask this guy to pay up, or am I just being petty. Idk I feel kinda stupid asking him to cover a mark on my car when i have a large spot on the other side of my car uknow?

On the other hand if anyone can jam into a car just because it already has some bumps I would have to total my car within the week!

What do you think? Its not a big injury, its quite small, but its down to the metall accompanied by some scratches along the sides.
