Hei!

I just bought an old car, Honda Jazz 2011. Its old, its not fancy, it has some not so-beauty spots, but it gets me from A to B. I used all my savings and even got help from my grandfather to pay for it. And I know that its not a good looking hot car by all means.

This morning i parked in a EMPTY parking lot at my university, and this guy parked right next to me and jammed his door straight into my car while I sat there. He didnt even look at me, just made a oops face and walked away.. Now its not just that he could have parked everywhere else, but there was plenty of space between us, so the cardoor jammed into my car at maximum opening range. And the fact that he didnt aknowledge me sitti

So I´m a female (25), and a soon to be a clinical psychologist.

I´m fit, above average attractive, and have a large social circle. Alongside my studies I work a lot and I own my own apartment. I´ve had a boyfriend a few years ago, that lasted for about 2 years, and he was a really great guy, but he just felt like we lost the romantic connection. I still care a lot about him, and we don't have any bad blood.

My problem now is that I seem to get myself in similar situations over and over. I meet a guy, and it's great at first, we date, I get my hopes up, we sleep together. I feel like we bond, the chemistry is great, etc. But then it never goes further. One of them strung me along for some

We both study the same program and are both females (25).

My friend is nice, well-meaning, and thoughtful (in most ways that matter). However she talks SO much. Like almost to the point where it's concerning. If she could she could hold a single line of speech for 6 hours probably. She cuts other people off mid sentence, does not let anyone in. Talks during classes and other times where it's not really welcomed by the listener.

A lot of people in the study program are pretty much sick of her. They find her rude and exhausting. I just found out, because they didn't feel like they could badmouth her to me. They can't really but I recently had the leading role on a project with her and o

So im just getting off a 10 week prednisone cure for AIP, and currently have 5mg left for 1 week. I have felt some pressure under my rib, and now I feel super full, gassy, and nauseaus. So just like last time. Im so fed up at this point. Im so tired of the side effects of the medication. My face is super round, I’ve gained weight, i sweat a LOT, and I dont sleep well. Im SO done.

Im so scared I will have to start all over again. I had some lab work done yesterday at the hospital for a routine check up, so I guess they will pick it up if my amylase levels are rising or my CRP.

Im so fed at this point. Im just a 24 year old girl and I’m already different because I dont drink. I feel super

As im currently in a ´´is it Autoimmune pancreatitis or cancer´´limbo, I´ve read a lot of litterature about this, and are curious about those that this may concern as the litterature refered to this as a ´´diagnostic nightmare´´.

This is not really a « i have anxiety» post as Im waiting for my MR after steroid trial and theres not really much I can do until i get the test back and worst case after a biopsy. I wont show you my poop I promise.

A little about me: a lot of pancreatic cancer in the family, but they were 50+ and Im 24. So im currently positive, some improvement on steroid treatment but not that dramatic as you might wish symptomatically after 4 weeks on steroids iguess. MRI sh

Autoimmune pancreatis people

seeking advice/support

Hello! Hoping to reach out to other people with autoimmune pancreatitis. I have autoimmune pancreatitis type 2 and have been on prednisone since the diagnosis a few weeks back. I´m supposed to decrease dosage by 5mg each week, but the two first days of my decrease each week I get some pain in my pancreas again, and then it gets better. Just wondering if this is normal. Currently in a bit of a bind because there isn´t much resources or doctors in my area who have knowledge about this diagnosis.

They couldn't even tell me If it's chronic. My brother has diabetes type 1 and my grandmother and her sister died early of pancreatic cancer, so I guess our pancreas is rather shitty.

Do you

Prednisone, really thirsty

pain/symptom management

Hello. I(F24) got diagnosed with autoimmune pancreatitis type 2 this week after 2 months of in an out of the hospital. They put me on a prednisone cure with 40mg, going down 5 mg each week. My brother has diabetes type 1, that he got in his youth.

Im on day two and a half and my thirst is unreal. I think I have consumed 4 liters today, and normally I hardly drink anything at all. I pee a lot too. I’m calling my doctor tomorrow, but I’ wondering if anyone else got really thirsty of prednisone. Any other experiences with prednisone and pancreatitis are also welcome!

How long does pancreatitis last?

seeking advice/support

So two weeks before being admitted to the hospital because of pancreatitis, i started feeling a kind of « fullness» under my rib. I have experienced it before maybe 1-2 times this spring but without any pain. However now it turns out i got pancreatitis and have been in a LOT of pain. It cleared up in a week and sunday i was good. Its now tuesday and i started feeling that fullness again. I dont drink alcohol and they have not found any gallstones. Im only 24 and in great physical shape. Im just starting to worry a lot if this is normal, or if i may be looking at chronic pancreatis or something worse.

How long should i expect to feel off? Like i started feeling pressure 3 weeks ago, spent 1

Okay so I have learned in a lifeguard course long ago, that to get a unconscious person out of a pool, that is very heavy, you can dip them up and down in the water, and then pull them up. So like three times up and down before getting them over the edge, is what I´ve learned( how many times you do it probably doesn't matter guess).

I actually did this in real life with a man that was drowning near a boat dock. He was quite big, wearing clothes and a huge wet backpack, and im just a girl (23) at about 5´8. I couldn't for the life of me pull him up, when I remembered this trick I learned in a course long ago. And it worked like a charm. So im wondering, what's the physics behind this. I g
