Hello all! I (21 nb, living in BC Canada) have two cats (both nearly 2 years old, female, spayed, and are updated on their vaccines).

Mace (in photo) first had just one small bump with what appeared to be a little wound in the middle that looked like it was likely caused by her sisters claw during play fighting. It developed a scab and appeared to be healing normally but I think either it was re-opened or irritated in some way (found a little bit of blood on my pillow) and the bump has grown slightly. A couple other bumps (looking the same way the first one did when she got it initially) appeared in a similar area and followed the same healing process. The bump on the bridge of her nose on her left side is unrelated (I hope) to this because we pulled a tick out of that place (got the head and everything) and it has been healing.

She hasn’t shown any changes in behaviour or diet and does not seem to be bothered by them in any way. However, I’m worried that they aren’t simply healing wounds and potentially a parasite or disease of some kind. We had previously made an appointment with our vet but the baseline consultation is $135, not including whatever treatment the might prescribe. My partner and I are both students and generally pretty broke but are technically able to afford the vet visit, however, it would be a lot of money for us to spend on something that turns out to be nothing and I want to exhaust our options before we decide to book an appointment.

Let me know your thoughts and suggestions <3
