What if I lose myself

trying to love you?

What if I am being played

thinking you feel the same?

What if I'm left behind

when you find someone better?

What if you break my hope

when I am healing yours?

What if you get tired

when I cling onto you?

What if you laugh at

the smiles that I fake?

What if you let go

while I'm holding on?

What if you leave me

for I'm not enough?
