Is shockwave therapy actually helping anyone here?
34M, been dealing with ED on and off for like 3 years. Mild at first, now it’s starting to mess with my head more. Had a pretty awkward moment with my girlfriend a few weeks ago where things just… didn’t work at all, and that kinda pushed me back into late night google mode.
I’ve tried lifestyle stuff (lost some weight, cut back on booze, gym, sleep, all that), and Viagra does work but I don’t really want to depend on it forever. While reading random stuff at 1am I kept seeing people mention [shockwave therapy](https://www.justhealthy.com/shockwave-therapy-near-me) for ED, based on the same tech they use for injuries and plantar fasciitis etc. Sounds promising but also kinda “too good to be true”? Maybe I’m looking at this the wrong way.
Has anyone here actually done shockwave therapy sessions for ED? How many did you need, what did it cost you, and did it help long term or was it just a short boost? Any side effects or regrets? Would you recommend it or save the money?
