I don’t want to be just another boy in your [unfinished] I yearn to be the man in your [unfinished] that holds you when you [unfinished] and cheers when you’re [unfinished], the man who holds your hair back when you’ve [unfinished] too much and shake near the toilet, the man who helps you up when you [unfinished]

I want you to be the woman with me when my life is [finished]

my only poem I’ve ever created and I think it’s so beautiful. each part of wanting ends with unfinished because my time with her isn’t over, until the end.

each [unfinished] word is completely open to interpretation, but they were originally, in order: “past,” “future,” “cry,” “happy,” ”drank,” and “can’t.”
