AI tool for creating presentations from notes
So I'm aware that this post is gonna go over like a fart in church, but I'm gonna ask it anyway.
I need to make slideshow presentations of my lessons. I normally teach 11th and 12th grade Programming classes and my lesson notes are quite bland and to the point. Over the summer, I going to be running a programming camp for a couple weeks and while my notes are sufficient for me, I'm thinking that 5th and 6th graders are just going to ignore them if they don't look engaging enough. I'll be guiding the lesson, but I need slides that kids can follow along with. Mostly for kids that are faster than the pace of the group or slower than the pace of the group.
I'm friggin horrible at creating fun and engaging looking slides. I tried Claude out of curiosity and their creation looked a billion times better than what I did.
So I'm curious, has anyone used any of the major AI tools to turn their notes/lessons into presentations? chatGPT seems to be decent at structuring the notes but I'm not impressed with their slide generation ability. Claude seems okay with slides, but you run past the allowed free limit pretty quickly. I don't mind paying for one of these for the month if necessary(I can probably use it for other stuff too) but I'd rather pay for something that other's have had positive experience with.
