30yo virgin

I have a male friend that is approaching 30 and never dated. He wants to, but feels like he missed the boat and has a lot of anxiety about trying now, so he’s basically given up. He’s not an incel or misogynist at all. If anything, I think this has probably made him less objectifying of women than your average man (which I realize isn’t saying much...) He’s funny and kind. He has a stable job and friends. No anger issues or anything like that. Honestly, I think he’d be a catch for a lot of women. I’m curious what advice other women would give him. If you are/were dating, would you give someone like this a shot? How would you prefer he share this information?
