Need help with Axis motion + milestone

Hello everyone

So I have this site with several Axis cameras but none of them utilize the motion app on the camera. What do I need to in Milestone to create a basic view with that only shows that motion.

What I have done so far:

Enabled metadata events and analytics on "Device -> Metadata -> Camera"

But in Axis Optimizer, the Metadata and search on said camera is still greyed out?

Assuming this will work, what do I need further on as in alarms, event and so on? I have been a Milestone operator for years now, but hardly ever opened the management server. As an operation I really wanted a view that can handle motion of lets say perimeters etc that hardly get any motion. But as soon there is motion on 1 of 20 camera I will get to see that motion!
