Xfinity Has Failed to Fix My Connection Drops for Months. What Now
I’ve been an Xfinity home internet customer for two years. The first year was smooth, but in the second year I started experiencing occasional connection drops. Sometimes the wifi signal completely disappears and sometimes the signal exists but there is no internet. I’ve tried everything to resolve it. Multiple support calls. they either said nothing was wrong or claimed to have fixed it, only for the problem to return. I visited a physical location in person, where they insisted I needed a new modem. I got it, and the problem got worse. Support then sent a technician, but all he did was swap the modem again. I told him I didn’t think that was the issue, but he didn’t listen and sure enough, it wasn’t solved. Now it’s gotten to the point where I’m randomly disconnected every hour for a few minutes. Working from home has become nearly impossible. Has anyone dealt with this before? What would you recommend at this point?
I really can’t switch to other services. Our complex is only wired for Comcast and the reception for 5G internet sucks.
