Any advice for someone who is filing a sexual assault suit pro se?

My statute of limitations is coming up, and I feel filing suit is the only way to start the process of getting some sort of justice.

Almost every person involved is an elected official or part of the local legal community in some capacity.

I know for certain what happened, and based off of things I directly witnessed, I believe I was set up to be assaulted in a professional environment. Based off of what I witnessed, I believe other employees were aware of what was going on and knew what was going to happen. I believe getting to discovery is the only way I can prove this, so I don’t feel like I have a choice. Is filing on my own the best option?
