Hero Discussion of this Day: Ursa Warrior (22 December 2013)
Ulfsaar, the Ursa Warrior
Come not near the darkwoods where my kindred sleep.
The Ursa Warrior makes quick work of enemies who try to fight him toe to toe. His Fury Swipes passively claw deeper into enemy wounds, dealing more damage with each consecutive hit. Overpower allows him to reach lightning fast attacking speed for 6 hits, and when Enraged, he'll deal even more damage based on a portion of his health. To aid Ulfsaar in unleashing on his prey, he can stomp the ground to cause Earthshocks, which cripple nearby enemies' movespeed and deals moderate damage.
Lore
Ulfsaar the Warrior is the fiercest member of an ursine tribe, protective of his land and his people. During the long winters, while the mothers sleep and nurse their cubs, the males patrol the lands above—as tireless, vigilant defenders of their ancient ways. Hearing dim but growing rumors of a spreading evil, Ulfsaar headed out beyond the boundaries of his wild wooded homeland, intending to track down and destroy the threat at its source, before it could endanger his people. He is a proud creature with a bright strong spirit, utterly trustworthy, a staunch ally and defender.

Tips:
If doing Roshan, it's safer to buy a Smoke and use it to get in undetected. Map awareness should also be key, look to where the enemy is.

Important Akasha tip of last thread by DRANKLE:
"A big thing a lot of people don't realize about this hero is that, due to your mana pool, you're better off finishing maxing scream (whether that happens at level 7 or 8 depends on how many points in shadow strike you get) before getting your ult. This may seem dumb on face, but you just don't have the mana pool to blink, scream, and ult at level 6 generally, especailly if you want a second cast of the first two." However, remember as everything, this is situational.
