YouTube Channel Advice - Keep or Ditch Shorts

Hope everyone is well.

Looking for some advice, I started a channel back in January of this year taking footage that I record in forests and centering my theme of the channel around Blue Hour ambient sounds or dark wave/ambient music.

The channel picked up a bit considering I was in a saturated niche, however I have noticed month on month that everything is grinding to a halt. I currently have 415 subs on the channel but very far away from the watch hours needed to even thing about any partnership with YouTube. I enjoy working on long form videos but originally the shorts performed better so I focused on those, until that is of the last week where before I was getting 1,300 views and now il be lucky to get 10 views on the shorts.

Some of the long form videos are doing well however they are not breaking the 1000 mark and most of them are below 100. They are slowly getting more attention then the first few videos.

I feel the channel is going on a death spiral, but I was wondering if anyone has any advice? I was listening to VidIQ but I feel that may have made things worse as after I started using it the channel dived.
