Looking for some advice!

I have recently hit the threshold for joining the YouTube Partner Program as I hit over 4k watch hours and have over 1200 subs. However, I have reframed from hitting apply as I was wanted to ask advice from ye all on what I should do.

My channel is based off doing blue hour Dark Ambient music content around forests (in particular Irish forests), I go out filming when I can and then create music videos for Dark Ambient Music. Some of those videos have been doing extremely well (one of them is pretty much pulling all those hours in).

Catch, I have potential earning limitations on all those videos apart from a few ambient videos. Which mentions that there

Hope everyone is well.

Looking for some advice, I started a channel back in January of this year taking footage that I record in forests and centering my theme of the channel around Blue Hour ambient sounds or dark wave/ambient music.

The channel picked up a bit considering I was in a saturated niche, however I have noticed month on month that everything is grinding to a halt. I currently have 415 subs on the channel but very far away from the watch hours needed to even thing about any partnership with YouTube. I enjoy working on long form videos but originally the shorts performed better so I focused on those, until that is of the last week where before I was getting 1,300 views

So recently I have a new channel on blue hour and forest ambience on YouTube, the channel is growing steady at the moment however recently I signed up to VidIQ to see if I can get an extra help on polishing my channel up and I have mixed feelings about it.

it's great that it can tell me a lot of stats but some of its suggestions I feel do more damage to the channel and as such in the last week or so I have found some of my views dropping.

what are everyone's thoughts on the platform? You can see the channel and the last few videos and the hits, primarily on Shorts.

I have recently been uploading videos my YouTube channel which is basically my original YouTube account that I have used for the last 15 or so years to watch a load of stuff and subscribed to god knows how many channels.

Recently in the last two months, I have been uploading shorts daily and long form content most weeks. I managed to get up to 136 subs and on average around 500 views on my shorts (up to 2k) and around 100 views on my long form content.

Thing is, I used to have other random videos on the channel years ago and used unlisted videos also for showing people stuff. So i am unsure if the channel is cursed because of the random stuff on the chan

Looking for some feedback on the thumbnails and (if you have time) SEO or my videos. I decided to start uploading videos on my YouTube account which never really had videos up till the last year or so.

I started to create content again and tried making my channel SEO friendly with clean thumbnails. My niche is Travel, Walks and Forest blue hours content which is a mixture of shorts and long form content

Just wanted to see if I am on the right track or if there is anything in particular I should work on (apart from my content as I know for definite that needs work lol)
