Day Lilly Was Nearby

Hi. USA, I am an adult, cat is neutered male, ~7 yrs. My dad bought a bouqete with a day lilly included in it. I had no idea he did it until just now when I walked into the room. Boquete was on a bookshelf, I think my cat had jumped up next to it, because when I entered the room he had quickly jumped down from one of the shelves. Not sure if it was the shelf with the flower though!

I got rid of the vase and flowers. I am watching the cat. He looks entirely normal. But I am not positive if he might have touched the plant or not. (nothing chewed) Should I just continue to monitor cat for any symptoms? I am currently jobless and money is not great at the moment. Last time I called pet poison control they charged a lot. I will bring him in if he needs it, but I need to know if I'm being paranoid. Is it OK to continue to monitor him closely?
