Can’t find what I like

Hello. Hoping to find some advice.

I cant seem to find models that I personally find interesting enough to continue working on or painting long term.

I think all the Warhammer minis look really interesting, and I’d like to paint them, but they’re WAY too expensive.

Military models are in my price range (maybe a little higher than I’d like), but the painting gets kinda boring, in terms of colors used

Gundams are fun to build, but they kinda look too much like a “toy” rather than a “model” to me. No offense there btw.

Outside of these, is there really any other bigger named companies that make models that need assembly and painting? I only say “bigger named” because I’d ideally like a lot to choose from. And being able to know what to expect in terms of quality is nice.

I enjoy fantasy themes, sci-fi, military (maybe not Tamiya military) and general weird stuff I guess. Hopefully someone might have some knowledge for me lol.

Thanks
