Can cat grass cause possible bloody vomit?
This morning I found my cat (F, 9yrs old, indoor cat, spayed) vomited food (which is normal for her cause she usually does from time to time). Then I saw a little pink/light red puddle next to her water bowl. I’m unsure what possibly could’ve caused this as I haven’t changed her diet and make sure she’s eating more wet food/water and have food specifically for GI issues. I’ve called the vet and have an appointment for her tomorrow. They told me to monitor for any further vomiting or if she starts acting differently than usual. She’s been acting completely normal this whole day with no further vomiting, able to run and jump around the house and eat and drink. My mom wonders if it’s the cat grass we bought her from the pet store a couple days ago. My cat loves chewing on it and has probably eaten a good amount of it. I searched it up on Google and it says that it does have a possibility to cause it. Has anyone else had this happen to their cat or heard of cat grass causing this??
