Affordable apartments downtown?

Does anyone have apartment recs (studio or 1 bed) that are within walking distance of things to do? I have a car but sometimes you just wanna walk around, you know? Ideally cat-friendly with laundry facilities on site and <$700 but that may be a stretch.
