Evaluating canceling service... new plan is same cost at half the speed

I am about to pull the plug and switch to starlink only so that i don't have to deal with renewing plans and arguing why there is no logic in the comcast plan structure. been a customer now for over 15+ yrs, am diamond (whatever that means).

current plan is expiring end of June and the new plan is 300 MB at half the speed of what i currently have for the same cost. I can't just extend my plan. And new customers have 1 GB for $45 ?!!? Someone explain that ideocracy to me.
