Bandage removed at doc today, how to proceed ?

Had adult (21) circumcision surgery yesterday due to having a rather bad case of phimosis. While up to this point in my life, I never suffered any terrible infections or pain, the almost incident of the foreskin getting stuck behind the glans during intercourse had me shook. It also made lot of sexual intercourse feel unsatisfying, uncomfortable or even painful. Realised that kicking the can down the road was no longer an option and thus got a surgery in a months time.

Today the appointment had removed the bandage and left me with some patting and cloth around it. While I had mo issues with the bandage ( bleeding or sharp pain). Its removal was extremely sensitive, painful and uncomfortable, probably because of the sensitivity of the glans due to phimosis.

While I was confident after the initial surgery regarding my sensitivity, this had me pause and worry. How am I supposed to wash it, if I am supposed to take a shower at all yet? How to dry it when it so sensitive, touch it etc.

I can’t lie I am a bit disgusted at how it looks, for I only did this for my own health rather then looks, and I feel terrible. How to go forward with this so I can get heal up both physically and mentally and move on with this shit?
