I went back through my list and found some more to recommend!

The Pride of McGill... David Hollander by everythingsflux - A funny story about David getting called up as the EBUG [Emergency Backup Goalie] for Ilya's Boston when they are playing Shane's Montreal. TIL what an EBUG is and how silly hockey is for real. Apparently there are a few real stories of random guys getting called up during games. Interesting hockey lore.

Revelation by AC91 - Everyone's [rightfully] very into Blowback right now, if you like that you might also like this. Shane's a uni student/hockey player and Ilya's the international transfer player he shares a room with in the frat house and lusts after. Ilya is very very quiet in this one but he still packs a punch. This is so loyal to the college experience (I guess my college experience, not that I had a hot, mysterious Russian man rooming with me at any point). Also anything by AC91 is spectacular.

No Sympathy for the Devil by Decadentsmutmonkey - Hollanov are married and retired and Ilya's dad is haunting him. Also...

something annoying this way comes by Anonymous - This time it's Irina doing the haunting, a nice companion piece to No Sympathy for the Devil in a bookclub kind of way. This one is more about Shane making peace with his in-law.

continuity errors/tuesday again by Anonymous - Not my usual fare (it's sad, but nothing too terrible), but a gorgeous 2-shot character-study-ish about Ilya's depression/loneliness and how he experiences it as he adjusts in Ottawa: “I think,” he says, very quietly, into the fabric of Shane’s sweats. “You should be worried about me now.”

These Icy Waters by jeejaschocolate - Shane's a selkie (he turns into a seal) and Ilya's in trouble with... something. When I read novels I read a lot of horror and magical realism so this scratched an itch for me. TW and not a spoiler bc it happens early but I'll hide it anyway:>!Marley dies off screen as a plot device.!<

for a split sec, i was a train wreck by Anonymous - Ilya gets hurt and goes stir crazy enough that he starts reading the tarot cards a hookup left behind.

Tubes of Neon Light, Refracted by bluerosebouquet - Shane's Shane and Ilya's a stripper he gets a dance from at JJ's bachelor party. The story is sweet and the sex is hott. There's Part 2 also.

i want you flowing through by veins by geminicat - "Spit in my mouth" PWP as husbands, I dunno it's just hot.

The Endless Variations of You by shades_of_pemberley - A 9/25 WIP of the boys as aspiring professional violinists. There's so much cool detail about the lives of musicians and the smut is smutting for real.
