New Subaru Uncharted - Why won't my doors automatically lock?

I'm loving my new Uncharted, so please understand this is minor issue.

My now-traded-in Chevy Volt would automatically lock up my car for me after I got out. Am I missing something, or does the Uncharted only auto-lock you into your car, but not auto-lock strangers out of your car?
