Catholic parents: how to educate your kids?
Hello,
I very much desire, with God's grace, to start a family. I'm quite concerned about how my child's education would fare considering I live in a VHCOL ultraliberal area and I'm seeking help from parents who are in the same situation.
I am aware that education starts at the home and that no matter where I send my kids to, they'll never maintain the faith if I don't set a good example for them.
However, while I don't deny it's impossible, I would find it extremely difficult to raise your kids in a public school system when it's guaranteed that they will have teachers advocating (and sometimes even actively practicing) degeneracy and swaths of students whose parents don't care at the very most.
At the same time, you have "Catholic schools" that cost $10k a year and most likely don't even teach the faith that well. "Homeschooling" is also seems to be another logistical complexity.
So what exactly are my options as a potential parent?
Thank you and God bless,
