Need advice

I discovered I had a high arch at 39. Had orthotics made and slowly got used to them.

The podiatrist recommended cushioned shoes, but stability/max support Brooks worked best with the orthotics.

Winter came, and I had to wear snow boots which the orthopedics won't fit. Summer came and started easing into orthotics again but they felt off. I started walking more with Brooks without them. Slowly, I started developing pain in the ankle and knee, which was then diagnosed as an unstable ankle and I have to wear an ankle brace at all times. Turns out I have oversupination.

Now I started physiotherapy and they are recommending that I wear indoor shoes which is not gonna happen for me. I can't stand shoes for a long time. I also don't think my shoes are providing the best support that I need cause I still have this issue of ankle instability and can't wear the orthotics.

I have been looking everywhere for what to do but I'm finding a lot of conflicting information.

1- I need a suggestion for nice supportive slides for home that are high arch and bunion friendly

2- How to know which shoes to pick when what feels good eventually hurts me

3- I don't know how to feel about orthotics but I know for sure that I need support for my super high arches to avoid rolling my legs

I would appreciate any advice. Thanks a lot!
