Hey. As the title suggests my cat has a non-healing wound on his nose. In started like a mosquito bite, and now it is the size of a coin. I took him to the vet and she suggested panderm (broad spectrum antibiotic cream). I would apply it daily but he would lick it after so much effort and fighting him to put it. But the wound is non healing still. The vet is not well versed in pets as she is a farm pet. So she wasn’t sure about the diagnosis. But assured me everything is fine. He is eating well otherwise. But im so scared something will happen to him. He is still eating though. Where i live there is no vets really. This vet actually travelled from her hometown and agreed to check my cat on her free time..since she has gone. She also suggested that he may have some allergies. Which caused his excessive licking that eventually caused the wound. Since i have confined him in a very clean bathroom alone. So i can control his environment for a while. He healed for a while but now the wound infected.   
I live in a place where there is literally no vet clinic or any reliable health centre for pets at all. I have since cared for pets using human medications and some advice from online vets.   
Now the wound seems infected and has a hole in his mouth. Each day its becoming bigger. Im trying to put him on some antibiotics to alleviate some of the infection. But he is not allowing at all :(. What can i do?
