Why does my cat keep throwing up her food? Anybody found a solution?

Her name is Claire and have had her since she was 7 weeks old. She's now 7. She has a brother that doesn't throw up. She's been doing this since she was young. I tried to eliminate foods that it happened with, thus moved to Pate' wet cat food. I then learned to feed her three times a day, sometimes four times to lower the quantity. That helped.

But lately, with ND dry catfood, she tolerated in the late afternoon what her brother got. No issue...until now. She threw up all the contents just now. That's twice this week. I fear I'll have to divide that late afternoon up.

And she's become pickier what she will eat. HELP.

No, I am not a minor. I'm posting from the USA. There is a vet here. HATE to take her because she's so nervous that the thinks I'm trying to murder her by putting her in the carrier.
