Are men not approaching women anymore, or is that just internet propaganda?

I’m still seeing posts from both men and women saying that nobody approaches anymore. I’ve been out myself, and I have noticed that men usually don’t approach women unless they already know them. I do think men aren’t approaching as much as they used to, but I still see it happen.
