I’ve been studying white supremacy for the past three years, starting around the time I was 23. I began watching a lot of Malcolm X and Fred Hampton documentaries and reading up on white supremacy and Black unification.

Around last year, I started noticing that a lot of Black women carry white supremacist ideologies. I started saying it too — that Black women, at times, sound just like Klan members.

Black men on Twitter were joking about it, but if you ask a Black woman how she feels about Black men, then ask a Klan member or white supremacist how they feel about Black people, the answers can sound similar.

Not because those things are true, but because they’re rooted in hatred and lies.
