Have LLM tools changed your expectations of AI quality?

Basically what the title says, but a few years ago when AI chatbots really became a 'thing' it was answering a question correctly felt impressive to me. Like compared to Google, where you had to guess and use specific keywords to find what you wanted, it was quite the difference.

Now, I feel like my expectations are a lot higher. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that I work in customer service and I've seen a lot of AI agents go from handling simple FAQs to resolving 70-90% of inbound questions end to end. When something can already check your order status, spot the delay, and issue a discount code on its own, ‘it understood my question’ just isn't the win condition anymore.

Keen to hear everyone’s thoughts on this. Also I want to know, do you think this expectation shift is a good thing or has it made us less patient with AI when it inevitably gets something wrong?
