Bamboo poles?

I'm new to Cincinnati and still trying to figure out where everything is. I love the feeling when you need something and you know exactly the guy to go to for it, but not yet.

Bamboo poles hold up the porch awning on the shantyboat

Today's quest is finding bamboo poles. I'm repairing the porch awning on Dotty. I was stupid and didn't roll up the awning last winter during the heavier snows and the weight broke the horizontal cross member.

In a lot of places I've been, people grow their own bamboo. But I don't know anyone here who has a little grove of bamboo. None of the box stores or nurseries stock it.
