My fourth and last Fringe dispatch. And, after 30 shows in 11 days, I officially resign; I am done with theatre altogether. (On a different note, anyone else going to Twelfth Night on Thursday?)

For anyone keeping track, here are my first, my first, my second, and my third dispatches.

And for the eternal ditherers still deciding what to see this final Fringe weekend:

RECOMMENDED

EVIE & ALFIE: A VERY BRITISH LOVE STORY
A cheekily sweet portrait of elderly married life, full of affection and brittle British diction. https://ourtheatrevoice.com/toronto-fringe-2026-dispatch-4-last-looks-and-final-picks/

YOU CHOOSE: AN IMPROVISED MURDER MYSTERY
An improv night held together by a surprisingly elegant dramaturgical framework. https://ourtheatrevoice.com/toronto-fringe-2026-dispatch-4-last-looks-and-final-picks/

BRAVA: A CABARET OF DEVOTIONS
A night out for (aging) musical-theatre kids, with Yanik Gosselin revisiting the divas’ most famous songs. https://ourtheatrevoice.com/toronto-fringe-2026-dispatch-4-last-looks-and-final-picks/

ENJOYED

THE ASTROS
A tightly crafted locker-room drama about masculinity, pressure and bravado, with every male hockey player played by a woman. https://ourtheatrevoice.com/toronto-fringe-2026-dispatch-4-last-looks-and-final-picks/

CATCHING A CHEESE PERVERT: A PRISCILLA PATTON MYSTERY
So: a dairy-devoted influencer, internet conspiracies, puppet work, and cheese-related indecency. The hook is irresistible, though it might need some seasoning. https://ourtheatrevoice.com/toronto-fringe-2026-dispatch-4-last-looks-and-final-picks/

BELLY BUTTON
A lyrical meditation on queer discovery, mothers and daughters, and the painter Amrita Sher-Gil. I suspect the piece is still escaping me, but it left me wanting to look more closely. https://ourtheatrevoice.com/toronto-fringe-2026-dispatch-4-last-looks-and-final-picks/

OTHER SHOW I WATCHED

POTATO POTATO SAVES THE WORLD (?)
Aliens invade Earth to steal its water: activism meets comedy in outer space. https://ourtheatrevoice.com/toronto-fringe-2026-dispatch-4-last-looks-and-final-picks/
