How do you differentiate between what's noise and what's actually helpful?

Discussion

Every other post in the sub seems to be planted, and every other thread is filled with folks trying to sell their AI tools — most tools sound useless, and comments sound like slop.

How exactly are you figuring out if a tool is actually worth trying? What signals do you look at?

Full disclosure: I'm leading marketing for a company that is super early (seed stage) and has multiple ICPs with one of the potential ones being CSMs. The way I've been learning more about what these ICPs are looking for is by hosting breakfast events where we understand their workflow. We've had an incredible response so far. But once in a while, I do find virtual/reddit threads where the product we're building could genuinely help someone. I want to learn what the best way to approach them is.
